What makes moments special, is the fact that we share them with others, with people who are important to us. But how life flies! And so much can change. We notice that all those special people and moments pass us by if we do not take a moment to reflect every now and then. That is why we grab our cameras; we pause and look back.
About Studio LNRD
We are Leonard and Janneke. Two people who take capturing life very seriously. And we freeze time on the day you never want to forget.
We have been taking photos of people the way they are, and were there at more than 400 weddings. Nothing needs to be changed, nothing needs to be directed.
Just you, your loved ones, and that special moment that you only experience once, exactly this way.

Leonard Walpot
I used to study Dutch Language, but I ‘write better in images’, as my LinkedIn bio states. And that is exactly how it is. I am Leonard and I have been a photographer since 2013. Weddings are still captivating for me, because I can really create something of value to people. Every wedding is different, a small family history in itself, where I can look for moments that mean something. That is what I aim to document, in as interesting a way as possible.
Apart from taking photos at weddings, I travel to The Hague regularly, where I work as a political photographer for a number of organisations and a national newspaper.
I am married to Janneke and together we have a beautiful family with two boys. I really enjoy evenings with friends, I love Italy, I have a fascination for languages, and I love the humour of the British.
Janneke Walpot
I am Janneke and in 2016 Leonard infected me with the ‘wedding virus’. I love gaining the trust of future brides and grooms and to be so close to them on such an important day in their lives! The pictures and seeing them back in print, in an album or as a beautiful copy, are the icing on the cake for me. My heart still skips a beat every time I look at them.
Leonard and I got married in 2010 and we are parents to two fantastic boys. Beautiful light and skies, flowers, perfect cappuccinos, and spending time with family and friends, make me intensely happy. I love CrossFit, being outside, and playing board games – but if the men are to be believed, I might be a bit too competitive… :-)
On the picture at the top of this page you can see Leonard and I, when we celebrated our 12.5-year wedding anniversary with all the lovely people in our lives.
Marieke
Time, creativity, and love for the profession allows photographers to make a difference between ‘just a nice picture’ and a ‘special picture that moves you’. It is the latter that I go for every single time! Every story can be captured in a different way. I consciously aim for a journalistic approach: to reveal a story as it really is, and preferably with a touch of humour ;)
My name is Marieke, I am married to Ivo, and we are blessed with two wonderful boys: Elim and Simon. Our small family, including our fun grey tomcat Dibbes, lives in the small town of Goes.
I love to make the people around me happy with love and fun, a day full of exciting appointments, eating pies and having a drink, long summer evenings, and Hillsong!
Sam
I am Sam. I am Charlotte’s husband, Noa’s dad, Flemish, and anything but a typical wedding photographer.
For me, your wedding is not an Insta-perfect photoshoot, but a unique and timeless documentary which shows what you are really like. It is a real honour for me to be allowed to follow you closely for an entire day and to be able to tell your story the way it is, real and unposed, with images which show how it really felt to be part of it.
Traveling, doing/learning/discovering new things, deserts with coconut, hoppy beer, timeless music with endless guitar solos, epic sunsets, and making people happy with my images, are what makes me happy.
